For the first time in Africa Rwanda Development Gateway will organise World Usability Day at Kigali's ICT park. The theme will be "Usability in eGovernment". Among many items on the Agenda will be a Seminar on the them to be delivered by a Usability Professional. His/Her audience shall include members of the ICT fraternity in Rwanda.
14.30pm- 14.45: Opening Words – Guest of Honour 1
14.45pm-15.00pm: Serious games- “It ain't working” by Mashirika Drama Group
15.00pm-17.00pm: Presentation on Usability by invited Usability Professional
17.00pm-17.20pm: User- experience design: One Lap Top per child. (a case in point) by ICT Park
17.20pm-17.30pm: Presentation of the Usability Professional Association – RDG
17.30pm-17.50pm: Guidance on Standards and Requirements for Government Websites- Rwanda Information Technology (RITA)
17.50pm- 18.00pm: Closing Remarks Guest of Honour 2
18.00- Cocktail

"Making Life Easy!" World Usability Day was founded to ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use. World Usability Day was founded in 2005 as an initiative of the Usability Professionals' Association (UPA).
